Project: Ford Field
Assignment: Daily sweeping of construction debris.
Client: Hunt/Jenkins Construction Co.
Job Synopsis: 65,000- seat facility that includes a giant glass wall, revealing the Detroit skyline, and the old Hudson ' s Warehouse, originally built in 1920. The massive project encompasses a total of 1.85 million square feet of development and this incredible stadium will be the host of the Super Bowl XL to be played February 5,2006. During some of the most intense construction periods we dispatched 4 trucks for around the clock sweeping. MetroSweep was involved in over 1600 man and equipment hours of sweeping within a 5 month period and within hours of the opening we performed the last minute clean up required to present this stadium as the world class facility it was intended to be.

Project: Detroit's Comerica Park

Project: Northwest Midfield Terminal
Assignment: Sweeping of runways, tarmacs surrounding the $1.2 billion terminal including the 11,000-car parking deck.
Client: The Bell Company
Job Synopsis: Around the clock sweeping to obtain final approval from the FAA on acceptability of surface because dirt and sand particles, plus small construction debris is detrimental to the turbine jet engine operation and endangers the safety of the aircraft and its passengers.

Project: I-94 Reconstruction
Assignment: Working with multiple contractors on this MDOT job. The largest reconstruction project awarded in 2002.
Clients: Dan's Excavating, Angelo Iafrate
Job Synopsis: A 4 month assignment, with one lane closures and tight deadlines to sweep and perform catch basin cleaning on 917 manholes in an 8 mile North and South lanes. Average daily flow on this section is 134,000 vehicles and contractor must pay a lane rental fee anytime I-94 is operating with fewer than three lanes in each direction. Therefore, a majority of this work was performed at nights and over weekends, to minimize the disruption to traffic. This is part of a $7.2 million project to rehabilitate the eastbound and westbound bridges.
